About Waldron Sexual Health Clinic
The Lewisham and Greenwich sexual health clinics provide free and confidential testing and treatment services focused on a wide range of sexual health conditions. Both clinic sites—The Waldron Health Centre in New Cross and The Primary Care Centre on Hawstead Road in Catford—offer care led by specialist teams. Services include STI testing and treatment (for chlamydia, gonorrhoea, syphilis, herpes, and genital warts), emergency hormonal contraception, PrEP and PEPSE provision, and vaccinations. Additional contraceptive services such as coil, implant insertions or removals, and depot injections are available. The walk‐in system at both sites operates on a first-come, first-served basis, with some consultation slots booked online and others requiring patients to return later in the day to minimise waiting times. The Waldron Health Centre is located at Suite 8, 2nd Floor Amersham Vale, London, SE14 6LD (opposite New Cross station) and is open Monday to Saturday with varying hours, while the Primary Care Centre at 1st Floor Hawstead Road, Catford, SE6 4JH follows a similar schedule. Please note that cervical smears are not provided, and the Hawstead Road site lacks a microscope for patients with certain symptoms.
